After seeing some of the action shots I took at the Edinburgh dryslope championships, a tutor recommended that I look at skateboarding photography from the 90's, as this type of photography is very similar to the action shots I produced, as many of them feature light trails, and a grainy appearance. I really like the light trails both in the skateboard photography and in my own images as I think they create a much more dynamic image and allows a sense of the speed and movement that the athlete is perfoming
